Poushali from Duttapukur, West Bengal dreams of winning gold for India in the Olympics. Currently, we are supporting her dream for the Federation Cup.
Meet Poushali Kangsabanik. She is an 8-year-old from Duttapukur, Uttar 24 Paraganas, West Bengal. She will be representing India in the Asiads in Yoga. Also, she will be participating in the Federations Cup on the 15th of August.
Her dream is to represent India in the Olympics. What comes between her and her dreams, is poverty. Her father works in a utensils store and is barely able to run a family of 4.
Her dream and her talent cannot go to waste. Helping Hands of Kolkata will fuel this dream by providing the following support:Project WINGS takes off with this initiative. Let's help them fly.
- To start with, we will provide 3 months of Nutritional food support, which includes Pedia Sure, Meat, Milk, Eggs, and Nuts.
- Her yoga costumes and equipment.
- A mobile device (phone/tab) where she can keep her training going. All offline classes are shut and the only way she can compete and develop new skills is through this mode. An accompanying data plan for 3 months will also be provided.
We are looking for someone to donate a tab/ a handheld device for Poushali. Who knows your device can get us the next Olympic medal.
Is anyone interested to help Poushali fly? We are just a call/mail away.
